DETERMINED to break a four-game losing streak against
reigning premiers West Coast, Adelaide has made one change to the team which
thrashed the Kangaroos last round at
AAMI Stadium.
Brent Reilly has been selected on the interchange for the
crucial clash which pits third versus fifth on the AFL ladder.
Luke Jericho has been omitted from the Crows team.
Adelaide
will meet the Eagles on Sunday at 1.10pm (CST) minus superstar Chris Judd.
The Crows have injury woes of their own but nevertheless are
ready to avenge the two heart-breaking preliminary final losses inflicted by
West Coast.
West Coast, meanwhile, has included prized quartet Andrew
Embley, Chad Jones, Chad Fletcher and Steven Armstrong for the match.
Out of the side are Tyson Steinglein, nursing a knee injury,
Brent Staker (leg) and Mitch Morton and Daniel Chick, who have been omitted.
Fit and raring to go to honour their most loved and
respected clubman in Glenn Archer, the Kangaroos
have made two changes for the emotion-charged match at the MCG against the
Western Bulldogs.
Daniel Wells is back in the line-up after recovering from a
knee injury, while Kasey Green resumes following a stint with North
Ballarat in the VFL.
Eddie Sansbury and elevated-rookie Matt Campbell will miss
the milestone match.
For the Bulldogs, Chris Grant is back after a lengthy injury
lay-off and has been named in a forward pocket, while the other inclusion, Sam
Power will start on the bench. Nathan
Eagleton and Rob Murphy are out through suspension and injury respectively.
Experienced defender Danny Jacobs has been dropped for the Hawks’
round 13 twilight match against Collingwood on Sunday.
The 116-game player makes way for lively forward Lance
Franklin who returns to the Hawthorn line-up after missing last round with calf
tightness.
Collingwood has included Harry O’Brien – back from a
shoulder injury and first-gamer Ben Reid. The duo replaces the suspended Anthony Rocca
and Danny Stanley who has been omitted.
