International

The AFL is the governing body of Australian Football internationally with the game growing rapidly on a global scale. There are currently 14 recognised International bodies affiliated with many others having encouragement agreements with the AFL across four regional delegates – America, Africa, Europe and Asia / Pacific. These affiliates are all represented on the AFL International Development Committee which meets quarterly.

The AFL is proud to recognise the volunteers, leagues and associations who maintain and promote Australian Football internationally. Without their initiative and endeavour in conducting regular competitions and junior development programmes, the game wouldn’t be able to have the current global reach that it does.
