In the week leading up to the 2010 grand final, 80 young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds within metropolitan and rural Victorian communities had the opportunity to engage in a unique football and life educational experience.
The AFL Multicultural Academy Combine Camp taught participants personal, health, athletic and leadership skills and introduce them to elite testing, past and present players, quality training facilities and insights into being an elite AFL footballer.
