Ranking: 14 IC08 Placing: Did not compete
AFL Fiji began training for IC11 in January 2011 after 10 players from the Suva area responded to a newspaper ad.
Over the next month, 60 players were recruited and trained twice weekly at Suva’s Albert Park under the supervision of Development Officer Glen Butler and local AFL Fiji volunteer officers and support staff.
In April an official training squad of 50—approximately 30 seniors and 20 juniors—was introduced to competitive footy by staging a ‘Nines’ challenge match each week.
Since May, the squad has played weekly full 18-a-side practice matches, from which the final touring team of 33 players was selected.

Jeff Pauli Jeff is a tallish centre-half forward/half-back/wing who performed outstandingly for the Under-16s at last year's Oceania Cup in Tonga.
Sulio Magiti Sulio is a smaller player who roves and gets the ball for his team when at ground level. He seems to be a natural at the game despite only having had this year to try out for it.
Jonathon Chongkit Jon travels from Nadi to Suva (much like going from Sydney to Melbourne) to be a part of the Tribe. He is a defensive player with an eye-catching running and kicking game.
