Hodge has a son named Cooper

THE HAWTHORN Football Club can confirm that vice captain Luke Hodge and his fiancé Lauren Kirkman welcomed the safe arrival of their first child Cooper Jay early on Saturday evening.

Cooper was born at 5.36pm on Saturday evening weighing 8 pounds 12 ounces to his delighted parents, with Luke taking on many of the parental duties throughout the first night as Lauren got some much needed rest.

We are both rapt to have a healthy baby boy - Lauren is doing really well as is baby Cooper and I cant wait to get us all home as a family, said Hodge.
