LEADING draft prospects Tyrone Vickery (Victoria) and Lewis Johnston (South Australia) are prepared to switch states and pursue their AFL dream next season.

Vickery, touted as a top-four selection, could be heading to Port Adelaide, if the Power does not trade their No.4 pick during next week's exchange period. But the impressive ruckman is not perturbed about a shift across the border.

"It doesn't worry me going anywhere," Vickery said. “I'm here to play AFL, so Adelaide is just another place and it doesn't worry me at all.”

Johnston, one of the best tall forward prospects, is a Collingwood supporter, and said he was equally happy to remain in SA or move interstate.

"My goal is to make it to the AFL, so I'll do whatever I can to get there," Johnston said.

"I hope to play a league game for the club [that I'm drafted to in 2009] and get my fitness right up and build my strength up, because I'm a bit skinny. I just want to achieve as much as I can."

The 200cm tall Vickery met with Port Adelaide coach Mark Williams during the NAB AFL Draft Camp.

"I think 'Choco' [Mark Williams] would be a little bit offended if I didn't [mention him]," Vickery said.

"No one has made any guarantees and rightfully so – no one knows how the draft is going to pan out. I'm sure every club is undecided still on who they're going to pick, especially first.

"It is [daunting being interviewed by the clubs], but you've got to look past it and at the end of the day, they're just people and most of the interviews are reasonably similar.

"They try and put you on the spot and test you and fair enough, they see how you respond to situations."
