Carlton ruckman Cameron Cloke is set to miss two matches after undergoing surgery to repair a fractured left wrist.

Cloke had a screw inserted in the wrist on Wednesday after suffering the injury against West Coast in the third quarter of last Friday night’s match at Subiaco Oval.

He sustained the injury after completing a lunging mark in the Blues’ defensive 50.

Carlton Senior Coach Brett Ratten told carltonfc.com.au that Cloke’s physical presence would be sorely missed.

“Cameron has been a solid contributor throughout our opening matches. It’s disappointing for Clokey after missing so much footy last year,” Ratten said.

“Fortunately he will only miss a couple of weeks, as we value his size and strength on the ground.”
