Canberra's home of Australian Football and cricket has a close tie to Australia's home of AFL and cricket, the MCG. It is the Jack Fingleton Scoreboard, which was the original scoreboard at the MCG.
The oval recently received a $9 million upgrade to maintain its standing as the premier ground for Australian Football in the nation's capital. The upgrade included new seating, extended terraces and more.
Western Bulldogs and Melbourne have each played one home game at the venue since 2006. Prior to that, the Kangaroos called it home once a season before taking games up to the Gold Coast.
