Kangaroos Network of Women

The Kangaroos Network of Women (KNOW) was renamed 4 years ago from the Lady Roos.

The group seeks to raise the awareness of women attending and being involved with AFL Clubs.

KNOW, in association with the AFLPA, hold the annual Mother of the Year function where all players from AFL Clubs are invited to nominate their mother as the mother of the year in football.

KNOWing Footy is another popular event held by the group that teaches the rules of the games, umpiring, skills and Q&A from players and coaches. This particular event is supported by many members of other Clubs as well.

Ben Warren is the sponsored player of the KNOW and is also invited along to their functions to meet the many members who contribute to his sponsorship.
