What's new in this issue

The Grand Final edition of the AFL Record has every aspect of this year’s big clash covered – including the latest stats, a comprehensive match preview and analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the Sydney Swans and Hawthorn.

Some of the many features in this year’s Grand Final AFL Record include Collingwood’s Scott Pendlebury and St Kilda’s Lenny Hayes, who relive a remarkable set of events that saw two Grand Finals played in the same year in 2010 and both win Norm Smith Medals; Chris Connolly opines how we can make a great game even better; Melbourne’s top-rating breakfast radio presenter Ross Stevenson has written a love letter to Grand Final day; we debunk some Grand Final myths; and there are profiles of Swans and Hawks players.

You’ll also find a Video Centre with interviews and season reviews for the 16 clubs who didn’t make the grand final, a collection of the best images from the 2014 season, an interactive Kids’ Corner, and more.

AFL Record Overview

Since 1912, the AFL Record has been the League’s official game-day publication. The AFL Record is considered the leading game-day publication in Australian sport and has a dedicated team of writers, designers, photographers and advertising salespeople. It uses the latest technology and production methods and, as the official ‘organ’ of the AFL, it strives to provide entertaining and thought-provoking stories and up-to-date statistical information.

Each week you'll find feature stories, video content including player interviews and match highlights, photo galleries, headshots of every listed player, a dedicated match centre for each game of the round, and the capacity to mark down goals and behinds.
