Nauru's 2011 premiership season started early to allow more time for the Chiefs to prepare for IC11. Competitions began in February and finished with finals at the end of April.

The 2011 Nauru Chiefs Squad was selected on May 1. The squad trained throughout May and June and then the bulk of the team travelled to Australia in early July to complete their IC11 lead up by playing with various football clubs in Country Victoria.

Players to Watch
 

Otto Adam
Otto is a tough on-baller who has special ability to read the play and has good disposal skills on both sides. Otto also played in 2008 team.

Johnny Dagiaro
Johnny is a tough utility player, can play on taller opponents, is a strong mark, accurate user of the ball and a member of the 2009 South Pacific team that played for the Pacific Forum leaders in Cairns.

Yoshi Harris
IC11 is Yoshi's first test in the senior ranks, but he's capable of mixing it with the older guys and has international experience at junior level. He was offered a scholarship from the GWS Giants.
