QUEENSLAND and Northern Territory have bounced back after opening round defeats to score upset victories at the 2008 NAB AFL Under 16 Championships on the Gold Coast on Wednesday.

All division two teams are now locked on one win with the winners of this Saturday’s matches to progress through to the final at the MCG on 2008 AFL Grand Final day.

The second round of division one matches will be played on Thursday, July 31 at Broadbeach with Vic Metro to play South Australia (11am) and Vic Country to clash with Western Australia (1.30pm).
