HAWTHORN has declared Luke Hodge, Brian Lake and Cyril Rioli fit for the Easter Monday blockbuster against Geelong.

But it seems certain only two of them at best will feature in the match, with Hodge already saying he is unlikely to play senior football until round three at best.

Hodge played no NAB Cup games as he recovered from off-season knee surgery.

Lake (calf) and Rioli (ankle) also missed the last few games of the pre-season.

"(They) are all available for selection this week. It's just a matter of the match committee making the decisions of which ones to go with and which ones need some extra work at (VFL affiliates) Box Hill," said Hawks development coach Chris Fagan.

Key defender Josh Gibson is available as well after he suffered a midriff injury in their final pre-season game against North Melbourne.

But Xavier Ellis has a calf muscle injury and will be out of action for three to five weeks.

Michael Osborne is also on the verge of resuming from the knee reconstruction that sidelined him last season.
