GEELONG has recalled veteran midfielder Paul Chapman, who hasn't played in the AFL since round four, for its blockbuster clash with the Sydney Swans at Simonds Stadium on Saturday.

The 31-year-old headlines the inclusions for round 22. Elsewhere, Collingwood has brought back Alan Didak, Carlton has regained Matthew Kreuzer and St Kilda has been bolstered by the return of Lenny Hayes.

Richmond has named Jack Riewoldt in its team despite him suffering a knee injury last weekend.

Dogged by hamstring soreness for much of the season, Chapman has been an impressive performer in the Cats' VFL team in the past three weeks.
