FREMANTLE now has six players among the top 100 in the Official AFL Player Ratings, brought to you by Vero, after its big win over Port Adelaide in round 22.

Captain Matthew Pavlich (No.88), Michael Johnson (No.91) and Nat Fyfe (No.100) all moved up to join Stephen Hill (No.54), David Mundy (No.69) and Chris Mayne (No.98).

Mundy and Fyfe have both only played 31 of a potential 40 matches that can be included in the ratings period and would be much higher rated if it wasn't for games missed through injury.

It is a sign of Fremantle's even spread of contributors that it doesn't have a single player rated inside the top 50.

Only Hawthorn (11 players), Geelong (10), the Sydney Swans (eight) and North Melbourne (seven) have more players in the top 100.

Hawthorn star Lance Franklin returned to the top 10 with the highest score of any player in round 22, kicking five goals against North Melbourne to finish with 26.6 player ratings points.

Geelong star Steve Johnson (26.2), Essendon's Brendon Goddard (25.7), Richmond ruckman Ivan Maric (25.3) and St Kilda midfielder Leigh Montagna (25.0) were the round's other leading scorers.

While Maric top-scored for the Tigers in their 121-point win over Greater Western Sydney, midfielders Reece Conca (23.9) and Matt White (21.1) had career-best games in terms of player ratings points.

Fremantle midfielder Lachie Neale was outstanding against the Power, finishing with 28 possessions (14 contested) and six clearances to also notch a career-high 20 player ratings points.

Gold Coast captain Gary Ablett was well held against St Kilda on Sunday, but he remains the No.1 ranked player in the AFL.

Adelaide star Patrick Dangerfield is No.2, followed by Geelong captain Joel Selwood.

Franklin is the game's No.1 forward, while West Coast's Shannon Hurn is the top-rated defender. Fellow Eagle Nic Naitanui remains the leading ruckman.
