CYRIL Rioli and Tom Hawkins will play in Friday night's preliminary final, with both Hawthorn and Geelong entering the match with unchanged teams.

Rioli missed the Hawks' qualifying final win over the Sydney Swans with an ankle injury, and was one of two inclusions for Friday night's game.

Lance Franklin was the other, coming back after serving a one-match suspension.

Hawkins continues to manage a problem with a disc in his lower back, and is considered a day-to-day proposition.

But both teams will enter the game as named barring any late setbacks, with Brendan Whitecross and Josh Caddy named as substitutes.

The conditions are cool with some light showers dampening the MCG surface, but it appears as though the worst of the rain has passed.
