We are currently recruiting for the role of Lions TV Producer to join our team.

Reporting to the Digital Media Manager and forming part of the Communications team, the Lions TV Producer is responsible for delivering high quality and entertaining content through the Brisbane Lions’ online channels.  The role also works with internal and external key stakeholders such as AFL Media to distribute Lions TV content to the widest possible audience.

The ultimate charter of the role will be to grow and engage the Club’s digital community through online video however the Lions TV Producer is also responsible for;

  • Leading the production, editing and development of Lions TV online and other channels including game day scoreboard.
  • Produce broadcast quality video/online content for all internal and some external channels, including AFLQ
  • Coordinate and maintain social media channels and online fan engagement relating to video

This position works closely with the Digital Media Manager and the Media Officer in leveraging relationships to continue to grow the Lions audience. 

The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of video production including intermediate to advanced camera operation and editing skills.  They will be;

  • Forward thinking, creative and ideas driven, with the ability to think on their feet.
  • Highly organised with solid time management skills, and possess exceptional attention to detail.
  • A strong relationship builder across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly competent Apple Mac user
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Avid & Final Cut Pro
  • Intermediate to advanced skills using a JVC Pro HD Camera, Canon 7D or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of both AFL and the Brisbane Lions
  • Hold a Bachelor of Film, TV and New Media Production or equivalent qualification or industry experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience working on video content production 

Basic office hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm however due to the nature of the industry and role, hours can be irregular so flexibility, some travel and a manual driver’s licence is required.  You must be available to work home games during the AFL season.
