GREATER Western Sydney vice-captain Tom Scully has been withdrawn from the Giants' side, joining star forward Jeremy Cameron on the sidelines for the club's duel with Carlton at Spotless Stadium on Sunday.
The key pair have been replaced by youngsters Jono O'Rourke and Zac Williams in the Giants' 25-man squad.
Cameron was in doubt for much of this week, even spotted in a moon boot at training on Thursday, and failed to come up because of an ankle injury.
The absences of Scully and Cameron will clearly make backing up last week's impressive 45-point win over the Brisbane Lions that much harder.
Sunday's final teams for all games are due to be released at 5pm AEST on Friday.
