ALAN Toovey has been withdrawn from Collingwood's line-up to face Adelaide on Sunday with a back injury.

Toovey is the fourth forced change for the Magpies ahead of their must-win clash against the Crows.

Dane Swan (foot) and Luke Ball (back) are both missing through injury and Nick Maxwell has retired. Josh Thomas has also been omitted.

Ben Reid, Lachlan Keeffe, Tim Broomhead, Kyle Martin and Jamie Elliott have been included.

The Crows have made two changes from the team that lost to Hawthorn in round 17.

David Mackay and Luke Thompson come into the side. Veterans Ben Rutten and Jason Porplyzia have been omitted.

The Sydney Swans' superstar forward line is complete again with Kurt Tippett picked to play in Saturday night's blockbuster clash with Hawthorn at the MCG.

Tippett will join Lance Franklin, Adam Goodes and Sam Reid in stretching the Hawks' defence which is without its most important key defender in Brian Lake (suspended).

Tippett has played just five games this season after missing the first six rounds with patella tendinitis. He then injured his knee in the local derby against the Giants in round 15.

The Swans forward has replaced Brandon Jack (omitted). Running defender Rhyce Shaw (ankle) and midfielder Dan Hannebery (ankle) have not managed to get up for the game.

Josh Gibson is a key inclusion for Hawthorn and will help its defence combat the Swans' tall forward line. Saturday night's game will be Gibson's first since tearing his pectoral muscle against the Swans in round eight.

Alex Woodward has also been named to make his debut, following two consecutive seasons wiped away by dual knee reconstructions.

Bradley Hill (knee) also returns to the side, while Matt Spangher (ankle soreness), Ben Ross and Taylor Duryea all go out of the side.

Dean Cox and Josh Kennedy headline the inclusions for West Coast in Friday night's meeting with Richmond at Patersons Stadium.

Mitch Brown and Brad Sheppard - who inked a new two-year deal with the club on Thursday - have also been named.

Jacob Brennan (ankle), Scott Lycett (rested), Blayne Wilson and Callum Sinclair all go out of the side.

Returning for Richmond is Matt Thomas and Nathan Gordon, while Daniel Jackson (glute) and Ricky Petterd (finger) will miss.

Star Brisbane Lions midfielder Tom Rockliff returns from his one-week suspension for Saturday evening's Q-Clash against Gold Coast at the Gabba.

Joining Rockliff is Jack Crisp (who is yet to play a game this year), while Mitch Golby (foot) and Marco Paparone make way.

Gold Coast has selected Luke Russell and Clay Cameron for the game against its northern rivals, with Tom Murphy (suspended) and Kade Kolodjashnij (hamstring) ruled out.
