- Foot injury means Steve Johnson will miss against the Kangaroos
- Boomer Harvey returns from suspension for North
- Hayden Ballantyne out for the Dockers, Nick Suban comes in

GEELONG stars Steve Johnson and Allen Christensen have been ruled out of Friday night's semi-final clash against North Melbourne.

Johnson was hampered by a foot injury in last Friday night's qualifying final loss to Hawthorn, while Christensen missed the clash after experiencing some soreness in his back.

Christensen had back surgery in February and has been restricted at training in the past fortnight.

As flagged earlier in the week, Hamish McIntosh will also miss the game after having a minor operation on his knee.

Young forwards Mitch Brown and Lincoln McCarthy have been named as the replacements.

North has made one change, with veteran Brent Harvey returning from a three-game suspension.

Ben Jacobs has been omitted.

Kangaroos coach Brad Scott earlier on Thursday also ruled out both Lachie Hansen (hip) and Leigh Adams (concussion).

Fremantle small forward Hayden Ballantyne will miss Saturday night's do-or-die semi-final against Port Adelaide with an injury to his jaw.

Nick Suban, who missed the club's qualifying final loss to the Sydney Swans, has been recalled.

Port Adelaide remains unchanged from the team that thumped Richmond in last week's elimination final, with Matt White named to take his place in the side.

White suffered a small crack in his jaw against the Tigers but has been declared fit for Saturday night's encounter.
