East Fremantle Football Club is a leader in the Australian Rules Football Industry with a strong brand built on our people, our commitment to values driven leadership and a history which has delivered unsurpassed on field success and the development of players and people whom have advanced to the AFL.

As Chief Executive Officer you will be lead our people in support of the Club's cultural framework; play a key role in the Club's facility future; provide strong financial management; oversee continued business growth;  maintain strong member and stakeholder relations and continue the Club's investment in community engagement.

  • Business Development Executive
  • Football Operations Manager
  • Customer Service Administrator
  • Membership and Promotions Administrator

Role activities include:

  • Cultural Leadership
  • Management of human resource requirements including recruitment, induction and review, based on strategic consideration of the organisation design and efficient use of resources
  • Management of current facilities and future facility accommodation requirements to support the financial sustainability and needs of the Club and the Community
  • Negotiation of contracts and agreements within powers assigned by the Board of Directors
  • Govern in compliance with the WAFL Licence Agreement; WAFL Rules & Regulations; Club Constitution; and all relevant legislation, including ; tax, employment and O,H & S
  • Management of Club Liquor License along with Food and Beverage revenue and cost centres
  • Providing strategy, planning and financial modelling for football and community engagement programs
  • Representation on the East Fremantle Football Development Council
  • Maintaining strong stakeholder relations
  • Overseeing the business development function and play a key role in partnership acquisition, relationship management and fundraising activities
  • Overseeing marketing strategies, campaigns and activities including membership recruitment, retention and communication.
  • Managing Major Club Events including match days
  • Protecting and enhancing the Club Brand and reputation
  • Ensuring effective consumer feedback mechanisms are in place to subsequently enhance the product offering and delivery

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven leadership and management capabilities
  • Strong business planning skills and the capacity to think strategically
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Understanding of IT requirements of the organisation
  • Well-developed networking, negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Proven their ability to take action, make decisions and get results

Desirable

  • Experience working with a Board of Directors
  • Experience working in a Club environment
  • A knowledge of Australian Rules Football Industry
