The Operations Manager is primarily responsible for management of the competitions contained within the South East Football Netball League. This 9 club league encompasses 33 football teams and nearly 100 netball teams across the municipalities of Greater Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • League administration
  • Competition management
  • Financial management and budgeting
  • Management of finals and representative matches
  • Marketing and promotion
  • Facilitate volunteer, club and player education and training
  • Assist with infrastructure planning
  • Preparation of reports

We seek a self motivated individual with:

  • Sports management or suitable work experience in related field/s
  • Capacity to influence people and organisations
  • Ability to manage demanding workloads and prioritise
  • Tertiary qualifications in sports management or business (desired)
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Proficient knowledge of the important linkages between netball and football within Leagues and Clubs
  • Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Highly developed IT skills particularly in Word and Excel
  • Ability and willingness to work outside of normal business hours
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence
