We are seeking an experienced retail professional with an absolute desire to deliver exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will lead a team to create unique experiences for sport fans, which will ultimately deliver increased revenues to all stakeholders. 

Reporting to the Retail and Online Business Manager, the position of Retail Merchandise Manager is responsible to effectively achieve annual budgets by managing the onsite retail operations and match day outlets of TPF Sport clients.

 The Retail Merchandise Manager will be responsible for: 

  • Development of a retail marketing plan and sales calendar.
  • Development, motivation and management of the retail team to drive exceptional customer service
  • Oversee all day to day store operations.
  • Ensure that all stores are presented in the best possible manner to generate sales and repeat business.
  • Manage all cash handling, cash security and financial reporting.
  • Store visual and merchandise display management across all stores.
  • Train staff in all aspects of the retail operation, including but not limited to sales, up-selling, stock control, product knowledge, visual merchandising, display standards and customer service.
  • Casual Staff Rosters for all events
  • Achieve sales targets by location and event
  • Management of stock system, including inventory management, ordering, receiving and reconciling of stock.
  • Ordering of stock dependent on sales forecasts, promotions, new lines and seasonal buys. 
  • Relationship management of supplier agreements. 

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Min 5 years Event and Retail management experience,
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. 
  • Strong understanding of CRM and POS applications
  • Have a desire to create a fun, vibrant culture whilst driving sales targets and exceptional customer service.
  • Fiercely competitive and relentless when it comes to hitting targets.
  • Creative, inspiring, energetic and motivated
  • Customer focused
  • Strong ability to manage and also work autonomously.
  • Ability to meet deadlines & manage time effectively
  • An interest in sport
  • Some weekend work required
