To ensure our players and coaches are ready to tackle the season head on, we are looking for an experienced Football Operations Assistant to administer and coordinate a range of administrative processes and tasks enabling the football staff to work in an effective environment.

The Football Operations Assistant also plays an integral role in fostering relationships across the business to ensure a united one-club approach is maintained.

The Football Operations Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Providing administrative assistance and support to the Football department as required;
  • Providing administrative assistance specifically to the GM - Football Operations and Head Coach;
  • Organising all travel and accommodation arrangements  for the department;
  • Processing all Football Staff and Players payroll deductions and/or reimbursements;
  • Coordinating all Football Staff Reporting; 
  • Coordinating Player Medical requirements;
  • Assisting with communication of player appearances;
  • Information management – ensuring that the information required by the Football Department is readily available and accessible;
  • Liaising with key stakeholders as required; and
  • Taking on specific tasks and projects as directed by the GM – Football Operations & Football Operations Coordinator.

 

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Experience in a similar role working in a high pressure elite sporting environment.
  • Experience organising group travel and accommodation.
  • Advanced computer literacy and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Superior organisational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise work, multi-task  and meet tight time frames with an enthusiasm to achieve the best results.
  • An eye for detail and ability to exercise sound judgement under pressure and time constraints.
  • A high level of integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
  • A team focus and the ability to contribute to team goals.
  • High level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work outside of business hours, if required.
