THERE is clearly a demand for AFL football in Port Lincoln, with the announcement that the Adelaide v North Melbourne NAB Challenge clash at Centenary Oval on Sunday afternoon is officially a sellout.
The League advised fans on Thursday that, due to the sellout, only pre-purchased ticket holders would be admitted into the ground.
How does the NAB Challenge work?
There will be no tickets on sale on the day, nor will there be membership scan-ins.
Thursday night's NAB Challenge opener between Hawthorn and Collingwood at Aurora Stadium in Launceston is nearing capacity, but seats still remain.
Fans are encouraged to upgrade to a reserved seat or general admission ticket to avoid disappointment.
The West Coast v Carlton clash at Mandurah (WA) on Friday night is also completely sold out.
Tickets are still available for the Brisbane Lions v St Kilda clash at Burpengary (QLD) on Saturday, while the Western Bulldogs v Richmond match-up at Whitten Oval on the same afternoon is nearing capacity.
Tickets are still available for the Gold Coast v Geelong clash in Townsville on Sunday.
