We are lucky enough to be able to select Goddard in the forward line this season and he’s a monty to be one of the top scorers in that position. With an average of 106 in his first 11 games last year, he was a popular upgrade target as a pure midfielder. If you don’t start with him, he needs to be at the top of your upgrade target list.
2 Michael Hibberd (DEF) $506,000
Hibberd is most consistent. Last year, he scored 88 points or more in 13 of his 18 games and, with a lack of premium defender options, ‘Hibbo’ is your man.
3 Dyson Heppell (MID) $606,000
Heppell has increased his average by 10 points each year for the past three seasons. While that would be great to see again, a 110-plus average beckons in 2015.
4 Adam Cooney (FWD/MID) $445,000
Joining the Bombers in the off-season, Cooney has averaged more than 90 points a game in five of his past eight seasons. Fantasy gold for a forward.
5 Tom Bellchambers (FWD/RUC) $281,000
With Patrick Ryder leaving the club, the No. 1 ruck role is up for grabs and Bellchambers will be looking to make that his and return to an 80-plus average
