THERE'S not much in the history books for Carlton supporters seeking a change of fortune on Friday night.

This week they'll be facing the team with the longest active winning streak over another club at one venue - Geelong at Etihad Stadium.

Twice last year that streak looked in jeopardy as the Cats pinched a pair of wins, both by a goal or less. The first in round 12 was due to some Joel Selwood magic, the second via a lucky break to the now-departed Allen Christensen.

The Blues are also heading the League's active streak for losses at night - it will be seven in a row if they can't spring an upset this week.

Check out who else is challenging history this weekend.
