KEY DEFENDER Aaron Francis will be central to South Australia's pursuit of a win over Western Australia on Saturday, as the reigning division one title holders look to claim their second win of the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships.

Telstra and AFL Media will stream the game live from AAMI Stadium, with the first bounce set for 12pm local time.

Francis starred for SA in its win over Vic Metro last week, taking 12 marks in defence and proving to be the most influential player on the ground.

Western Australia will be keen to limit his impact, particularly as it looks to rebound from a disappointing 105-point loss to Vic Country last week.

As well as Francis, who is consolidating his place near the top of the draft order with each performance, Will Snelling, Riley Bonner, Luke Partington and Wayne Milera have been others to show their attributes for SA in the national carnival so far.

Western Australia won the first contest between these teams in round one by one point, in a game where 198cm prospect Dylan Smith highlighted his athletic traits. Callum Ah Chee is another exciting West Australian to watch throughout his state's under-18 campaign.

AFL Media will be broadcasting five more games during the under-18 championships, including Sunday's clash between Vic Country and Vic Metro from Simonds Stadium.
