Box Hill Hawks Football Club is a proud, successful and respected team of the Victorian Football League, well placed for future success. The Club is presently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and a self-motivated individual to manage recruiting and list management.
Reporting to the General Manager and Football Manager, the Recruiting and List Manager will focus primarily on identifying, contacting and signing key players from around the country.
The primary responsibilities will include:
- Building effective relationships with AFL player Managers
- Successful list development and maintenance
- Signing valued and identified players
- Regularly liaising and communicating with the General Manager and Football Manager
- Viewing VFL (Seniors/Development) TAC Cup and some local football games.
The successful candidate will have good working knowledge of current AFL and VFL structures and lists, and solid experience in recruiting, coaching and talent pathways.
This position would suit a person that has been involved in scouting, recruiting and has a good knowledge of identifying talented players within the football community, as well as someone looking at developing a career path into football at an elite level.
The role is part time and would require 1-2 days per week mainly weekend work (watching football) with the occasional day required in at the club to present to the General Manager or Football Manager.
