The AFL wishes to advise the Match Review Panel has reviewed the matches played in round 23 of the 2015 Toyota AFL Premiership Season. The following charges were laid:  

Charges Laid:

Jay Schulz, Port Adelaide, has been charged with striking Lachie Neale, Fremantle, during the first quarter of the Round 23 match between Port Adelaide and Fremantle, played at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, September 5, 2015.  

In summary, he can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.  

Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the Fremantle Football Club, it was the view of the panel the incident should be classified as careless conduct with low impact to the head. This offence was classified as a $1500 sanction. The player has no applicable bad record. An early plea can reduce the penalty to a $1000 sanction.  

Kade Simpson, Carlton, has been charged with making forceful contact from front-on against David Hale, Hawthorn, during the second quarter of the Round 23 match between Carlton and Hawthorn, played at the MCG on Saturday September 5, 2015.  

In summary, he can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.

Jordan Lewis, Hawthorn, has been charged with tripping Andrew Carrazzo, Carlton, during the second quarter of the Round 23 match between Hawthorn and Carlton, played at the MCG on Saturday September 5, 2015.

This offence was classified as a $1500 sanction. The player has no applicable bad record. An early plea can reduce the penalty to a $1000 sanction.
