THE AFL today announced the fourth group of players that will attend the 2015 NAB AFL Draft Combine in October at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne.

AFL National and International Talent Manager Kevin Sheehan said with only four specialist ruckmen selected for the NAB AFL Draft Combine, the rucks will join the tall forwards group for workouts.

“The tall forwards and ruck group includes five graduates of the NAB AFL Academy and three players who won All-Australian honours at Under-18 level this year.” He said.

“It’s also great for the future of the game to have two Sudanese-born prospects in the Dandenong Stingrays’ 201cm Gach Nyuon and the Queensland Scorpions’ 198cm Mabior Chol amongst this group. Both youngsters are relatively new to the game but showcased their enormous potential in the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships during the year.”

State Combines will be held in Melbourne (October 11), Perth (October 18), Adelaide (October 19) and Sydney (October 26).
