AFTER nearly three years embroiled in supplements saga turmoil, Essendon's 34 past and present players will finally know their fate on Tuesday morning.

The Switzerland-based Court of Arbitration for Sport is expected to deliver its verdict whether the Bombers took banned substance Thymosin Beta-4 during the 2012 season to the club around 7.30am AEDT.

The AFL Anti-Doping Tribunal in March found insufficient evidence to declare the players guilty of doping offences, with that judgement appealed by the World Anti-Doping Authority.

A three-man CAS panel heard the appeal in Sydney in November and their verdict will be final.
