Paul Couch public memorial service set for March 15

Paul Couch, a Cats great The AFL community in mourning after the passing of Geelong champion Paul Couch aged 51

THE MEMORIAL service for Geelong champion Paul Couch will be held at Simonds Stadium on Tuesday March 15 at 2.10pm.

Family, friends and the general public will be invited to join in a celebration of the Brownlow Medal winner's life at the ground he starred at for many years.

The Premiership Stand seating bay will be open for attendees to sit in, with the service to take place on the grass in front of it.

A series of condolence books will be available around the ground for people to share their memories of Paul. These will also be available for the weeks following the service for those unable to attend on the day.

At the conclusion of the service, the family will lead a lap of honour around the Simonds Stadium boundary line which attendees will be invited to join them on.
