THAT ITCHY trade finger has been put to use by thousands of coaches off-loading injured players such as Mitch Robinson, Jed Anderson, Luke Hodge and Dane Swan, whereas some have decided to send a message to their squad and right some wrongs.

The simple advice this week is to make sure you’re trading to make your team better, not only for this week, but for the future.

Bringing in players with the lowest break-evens to help you build cash should be the priority – behind making sure you don’t have hundreds of thousands wasted on your bench with a sidelined star.

Swan George Hewett (MID, $158,000) enjoyed a $33,000 price increase and had a round two break-even of -23, meaning he is set to add plenty of more dollars to his name this week.

His teammate Tom Papley (FWD, $150,000) has a break-even of -14 while Clay Cameron (DEF, $147,000) will also go up in value thanks to his break-even of -8.

Midweek Fantasy stocktake: round two

Making cash is important for your team to allow for upgrades and getting the best cash cows is the No.1 way of doing this.

If you were frustrated by a player last weekend, it can feel good to trade them out, but make sure you are doing it for the right reasons.

A low score by a premium isn’t the end of the world, but back your gut and hold them. In saying that, if a trade can get you to a must-have player then go for it.

Aaron Hall (FWD/MID, $442,000) and Sam Gray (FWD/MID, $443,000) are two of the most traded in players this week and are now in 29 per cent and 26 per cent of teams respectively.

Before the Friday lockout (7:50pm AEDT), make sure you have selected your four emergencies as well as your all-important captain for double points and your backup vice-captain.

Match-ups in leagues with default settings kick off this weekend. Invite your mates to fill the league or commissioners can add celebrity teams via the settings.

The Traders will be chatting LIVE from 6:15pm AEDT as the round two team sheets are released.
