ANOTHER round is done and dusted and once again there was some confusing scoring, leaving many coaches questioning whether they have a good or bad team. However, exciting times ahead with the first roll out of DPP players dropping on Tuesday night, which could provide us with the options required to deliver some consistency to our squads.

Fantasy Pig
Max Gawn
is running hot after a slow start to the season and is certainly the pick of the rucks at the moment. He showed plenty of pig tendencies in the first half against the Tigers, making Ivan Maric wish he stayed in the VFL for another week. He was so dominant in the first half that he actually managed to raise the bat for a ton before the siren signalled the long break, a feat very few have achieved. He eventually finished with 18 possessions, two goals and a whopping 47 hit-outs for 142.

Fantasy Prestigiacomo
After a brilliant season to date, many coaches gave the captaincy to the form player in the competition Zach Merrett, especially given his matchup with the Pies who are renown for giving up huge points so far this season. Unfortunately, it was too much responsibility for the young star who was well below his best, finishing with just 66 points from his 20 possessions and a goal, over 50 points less than his second-lowest score this season.

Piglet
With all the talk about Mason Cox making his debut for the Pies, Josh Smith eased onto the scene with an awesome debut on the big stage. After a slightly shaky start, he recovered brilliantly, eventually scoring 89 from 23 possessions and a goal. His teammates had no hesitation looking for him and he repaid their faith with impressive composure as the game went on. It looks like he will be around for a while.

All great options mate, but I think Pendles is the best bet. He is great value for a player of his standard and consistency.

I like those options, but James Kelly with receive DPP and I think you should put him in the mix.

Toby looks worth the punt, although he has shown this year that he is still capable of 50s. I assume you are trying to be funny with the Gawn question, and the answer is yes, as long as it is not at the expense of Goldy, Martin, Blicsavs, Nic Nat etc.

If Caleb Daniel is back, that would be a good trade, otherwise Mitch Duncan is looking good in the midfield.

No, I enjoyed it.

Maybe in six weeks if he plays the same role he did today.

We need Rocky back to full fitness and that will be the end of the captain issues!
