PLAGUED with injury for much of the season, the Western Bulldogs have received a clean bill of health following their semi-final win over Hawthorn.

The Bulldogs will go into Saturday's preliminary final against Greater Western Sydney with six players unavailable for the remainder of the season, and midfielders Nathan Hrovat and Lin Jong are both a chance to resume from shoulder and collarbone injuries respectively if the Dogs progress to the AFL Grand Final.

Bulldogs football manager Graham Lowe said Hrovat could be available for Footscray's VFL Grand Final showdown with the Casey Scorpions on Sunday after being a late withdrawal from the preliminary final thrashing of Collingwood.

"Nathan injured his shoulder in the (VFL) final against Essendon a couple of weeks ago, (and) we’ve been managing him conservatively and was pulled out of the game at the weekend," Lowe told westernbulldogs.com.au.

"We’re going to monitor him this week with a view to making a decision on him in the coming days (on his availability for Sunday)."
