a strategy has been developed in the off-season to achieve this. A critical part of this strategy is recruiting an
innovative and energetic Fan Development & Ticketing Manager to create curiosity and interest, grow our fan base
and fill the stands of Metricon Stadium.

This trendsetting and progressive thinker will be on the forefront of building market-leading fan development and
ticketing strategies to grow gate revenue for the SUNS and build a long-term fan base for AFL in Queensland

Reporting to the General Manager – Consumer and Community, this role is also responsible for the supervision
and development of our Fan Development Coordinator and Ticketing Coordinator.

The Fan Development & Ticketing Manager will be responsible for:

• Analysing data on Gold Coast SUNS consumer segments and developing targeted engagement strategies;
• Creating an adult fan acquisition program;
• Developing an annual ticketing strategy and delivery plan to increase the purchase of casual tickets
through communications and specific offers;
• Building campaigns to extend fan relationships from casual to repeat ticket purchasers; and
• Managing all match day Fan Development and Ticketing activities focussing on customer service and sales
opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have:
• A strong personal brand which personifies the GCFC values of bold, fresh, relentless, dependable and
community
• Demonstrated experience developing Ticketing campaigns to achieve desired targets
• Experience using database and market research analysis to develop strategy
• The ability to lead, motivate, and influence a team of direct reports and peers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with people from a
variety of backgrounds
• Experience working in professional sport, live events or leisure and entertainment
• Relevant tertiary qualification (desirable).
