THE SYDNEY Swans have again chosen not to allocate Adam Goodes' number 37 to a player, continuing its indefinite resting.

Last year the Swans said the number would be rested, but not retired, out of respect for dual Brownlow medallist Goodes.

Rookie Shaun Edwards, now at his third club, will take on Michael O'Loughlin's number 19, the same number he wore at Essendon.

Oliver Florent, the Swans' first round selection at pick 11, will wear the number 13 – a lucky one for him, having worn it as a junior.

Forward Will Hayward will be looking to replicate the premiership goal-scoring heroics of Nick Malceski, donning his number 9 jumper.

Ruckman Darcy Cameron will pull on the number 17, while Jack Maibaum and Ben Ronke will take over retirees Ben McGlynn's (21) and Ted Richards' (25) numbers respectively.

Fellow draftees Robbie Fox (42), Sam Fisher (45) and Toby Pink (47) also received their numbers.

The Swans have had one number upgrade, with Jordan Foote celebrating his elevation from the rookie list with a promotion to number 6.
