Sponsorship Account Manager - Fremantle FC

(fixed term 9 month contract)

An opportunity has arisen for a hardworking and dynamic professional to join our Commercial Partners team as a Sponsorship Account Manager on a fixed term basis to cover a 9 month period.

The primary purpose of this role is to build relationships with, and deliver a high level of service to the key partners of the Fremantle Dockers to deliver agreed commercial outcomes. This will be achieved by working closely with the GM Commercial Partners and other Account Managers as well as with your partners.

This role will take a strategic approach to proactively manage the day to day relationship with sponsors / partners and ensure delivery of all contractual deliverables within your portfolio.

You will also use your creativity and experience to assist the partners to leverage their partnership with the club whilst also seeking and securing new partnership relationships and agreements.

If you’re the person for this role, you will have excellent negotiation and relationship management skills and a proven record of success in a sponsorship or other relevant relationship management role ideally in the sports or comparable industry.

The ability and willingness to work at home game days throughout the football season and out of hours at other club events, and to work effectively as part of a dedicated team are essential. 

Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.
