YES, IT would be nice to cut some of the under-performing premium players, but sometimes we just need to stick to the plan.

So what is the plan?

Every week we seem to be thrown a curveball or two when the teams drop and there is a forced trade that upsets the plans we have had in place all week.

Thankfully it has been a short week and those trade ideas had 48 hours less thought than other weeks.

Fantasy's new dual-position players

Looking across a lot of teams last week, despite it being a high scoring round for many, there were a lot of DNPs featuring in squads. Benches are sparse and as a result, cash generation is still looking to be quite challenging this season.

Enter the week of the double downgrade.

Aaron Black (FWD, $184,000) played his first game in the hoops, as he raised the bat for a Fantasy ton, the third of his career and first since July, 2013.

The new Cat goes into round six with the lowest breakeven (-23) and is set to add to the $34,000 he increased in his first game. Black should be at the top of your shopping list.

Given the game was on Monday night, not a lot of coaches brought in Jay Kennedy-Harris (FWD, $170,000) for his first game of the season. A solid 70-point match saw him increase his price by $20,000 and he has a breakeven of -3.

If named, David Myers (MID, $197,000) could answer a few prayers in the midfield. He returned through the VFL on Sunday, racking up 34 disposals, eight marks, seven tackles and a goal on his way to 135 Fantasy points.

The Bomber hasn’t played a senior game since his two matches in 2015 but if he can produce an average of 81 like he did in 2014, then he could be the answer as a cash cow in the engine room.

We may see Nic Newman (DEF, $270,000) return for the Swans following his 121 point game in the NEAFL and Fremantle’s Harley Balic (MID/FWD, $178,000) is available for selection after missing with a hip injury last round.

Both have negative breakevens and should be considered as money-makers over the next few weeks.

The Traders will be chatting all things Fantasy from 6pm AEST. Roy, Calvin and Warnie discuss the ins and outs for round six, the best captaincy options and they’ll be taking your questions about which of the new dual-position players to pick up.
