AFL 2017 Round 04 - North Melbourne v Western Bulldogs

Andrew Swallow has returned to the Roos team

FORMER North Melbourne skipper Andrew Swallow has earned a reprieve and will return to the senior side among four changes for Sunday's clash against Melbourne at the MCG.

Swallow has been missing at AFL level since he was dropped following the Roos' narrow loss to Fremantle in round five, and returns alongside spearhead Jarrad Waite, who is back from a one-game suspension.

Talented forward Taylor Garner is back from a hamstring complaint, with Aaron Mullett returning from a hand injury.

Trent Dumont (concussion), Jy Simpkin (AC joint) and Jed Anderson (foot) have been forced out through injury, while Sam Durdin has been dropped.

All the round nine teams

The Demons will go in unchanged after ambushing the League-leading Crows at Adelaide Oval in round eight.

West Coast coach Adam Simpson has resisted the urge to recall Drew Petrie for the Eagles' clash with Essendon, only including goalsneak Jamie Cripps in a like-for-like swap for Josh Hill.
Cripps has made a speedy recovery from a nasty ankle injury suffered in the round five thumping from Hawthorn.

Hill went goalless for the second time this season from 10 touches in last Friday night's victory over the Western Bulldogs.

The Bombers have named an unchanged line-up from the side that upset Geelong last Saturday night.

Craig Bird, Tom Bellchambers and Jackson Merrett are the emergencies.

Fremantle has regained gun midfielder Stephen Hill from a hamstring strain for the final match of the round against Carlton at Domain Stadium.

Darcy Tucker has been omitted, while Ed Langdon has been named despite appearing proppy at training testing out a strapped left knee this week.

The Dockers will be chasing their sixth win in seven games against the Blues, who have made only one change to the side which pushed St Kilda last round.

Simon White has been axed, with 19-year-old midfielder David Cuningham coming into the 22.
