TOP-10 draft pick Will Brodie will debut for Gold Coast against Melbourne in Alice Springs on Saturday.

The inside midfielder, who was selected with the ninth pick of the 2016 NAB AFL Draft, played in all three JLT Community pre-season games but has had to wait until round 10 to debut.

Brodie has averaged 23 disposals in his seven NEAFL appearances this season.

At 188cm, the former NAB AFL Academy member is terrific around the stoppages and has a thirst for winning the contested ball.

He will debut against the Demons alongside childhood hero and fellow Shepparton product Michael Barlow.

Brodie joins Ben Ainsworth and Jack Bowes as top-10 draft picks to debut for the Suns this season.
