GOLD Coast could make up to seven changes next week as coach Rodney Eade searches for answers to the team's floundering season.
The Suns now sport a 3-6 win-loss record after being blown away by Melbourne in Alice Springs.
Two weeks after being embarrassed by Port Adelaide in China, Gold Coast conceded 14 of the last 18 goals against the Demons to lose by 35 points.
Eade was flat after the match, saying turnovers cost his team dearly.

He said the Suns "struggled for players to stand up" in the second half.
"It was just our turnovers, we gave the ball back to them," Eade said.
"We made a couple of mistakes that cost us goals and players went back into their shell a bit and didn't use the ball the way they were supposed to, were conservative, and made mistakes."

The Suns have a long injury list, but Eade said "six or seven" could be available next week when they host West Coast.
Gary Ablett (shoulder) and Jack Bowes (illness) are expected to return, while Trent McKenzie made his way back through the NEAFL and Callum Ah Chee, Jesse Lonergan and Matt Rosa could all come into contention.
Eade said his coaching message was only partly getting through.
"A lot of the times yes, sometimes not," he said.
"The scoreboard reflects that last bit, so we need to get some players in that can do that."
