THE FINAL phase of the NAB AFL Women's Under-18 Championships kicked off on the Gold Coast on Monday morning, with AFLW club coaches and scouts getting a close look at the country's elite juniors before the NAB AFLW Draft in October.

The carnival started with matches in Adelaide in May, with the remaining nine matches this week. Northern Territory, South Australia and Tasmania played in a tri-series during round one, with the best players from matches involving those three teams selected to play for an Allies team.
