DESPITE it ending in heartbreak, Adelaide fans will look back fondly on a 2017 that brought a minor premiership and a series of dazzling performances.

Giving their verdict on the Crows in an end-of-season AFL.com.au fan survey conducted after the Grand Final, supporters gave the season 8.2/10.

Midfield bull Matt Crouch can hold his head high after his Grand Final performance, and his excellent 2017 was recognised by fans, with half of respondents naming him player of the season.

Troy Menzel, who played just four senior games this season with an average of 9.5 disposals a match, was named the most disappointing player.

He was closely followed by forward Josh Jenkins, who came to regret his talk of premierships in the weeks before the Grand Final.

Here are the full survey results, plus a selection of Crows fans' moments to remember and forget.
