GOLD Coast youngsters Brayden Fiorini and Charlie Ballard have both extended their contracts with the club by a further two years.

Fiorini, in his third season with the Suns, has signed on until the end of 2020, while first-year wingman Ballard will be at the club through the 2021 season.

Fiorini, who started this season with six strong games before a hamstring injury sidelined him, said Gold Coast now felt like home.

"I can’t wait to be part of the future of the club," he said.

"Stuey (Dew) has been great not only for the whole club, but my own game personally as well.

“Over the next couple of years, I want to really develop as a leader and try to drive the group as much as I can.”

The 20-year-old has played 21 games to date.

South Australian Ballard has made a strong impression, playing the past five games after the Suns took him with the 42nd pick in last year's NAB AFL Draft.

"I’m very happy," he said.

"It gives me a bit of surety with my future and it's really exciting to be part of such a young and exciting group.

"I had a brief conversation with my family about it and there was absolutely no hesitation in re-signing."
