ADELAIDE has been dealt an important blow for tonight's clash with Geelong at Adelaide Oval, losing key defender Daniel Talia with a foot injury.

Talia strained his foot in last Friday night's loss to Richmond and wasn't able to recover in time.

Former first-class cricketer Alex Keath comes into the side for his first senior game since round 23 last year.

The Cats haven't made any late changes.

Hugh Greenwood, Jake Kelly, Kyle Cheney and Lachlan Murphy will start on the interchange bench for the Crows.

The Cats' starting interchange bench is Gary Ablett, Quinton Narkle, Cameron Guthrie and Sam Simpson.
