WATCH: Is Tex in trouble for big hit on Cat?

Tex reported for high bump Taylor Walker in the book for this hit on Zach Tuohy

ADELAIDE captain Taylor Walker will come under the scrutiny of the Match Review Officer after a high bump on Geelong defender Zach Tuohy at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday night.

Walker's shoulder made contact with Tuohy's head in a collision in the Crows' forward 50 late in the first quarter.

The 28-year-old Cat came straight to the bench and was bleeding but didn't show any initial signs of concussion.

Following assessment in the rooms, Tuohy returned to the interchange bench after quarter-time and to the field early in the second term, playing out the game.

Crows coach Don Pyke hopes a clean bill of health for Tuohy works in Walker’s favour.

“I’ve seen the incident, I don’t know, I haven’t looked at it in slow motion,” Pyke said.

“Obviously Tuohy was able to come back on and play the game out, so I’ll let the AFL deal with that.”

Pyke said he looked to re-focus Walker at the quarter-time break.

“I said ‘Look mate, it’s happened, I think you just get on playing the game. The reality is you can’t go back and do anything about it and clearly you don’t know what the outcome is going to be, so we’ve got a game to play and focus on that’."

Walker has already been before the AFL tribunal this month. He had a fine retracted following an incident with the Eagles’ Luke Shuey.
