PREMIERSHIP forward Daniel Rioli has hurt his finger in a training session at Punt Road.

The 21-year-old appeared at scans shortly after the session and told AFL.com.au he'd jarred his finger during the two-hour hit-out which included match simulation.

Rioli downplayed the severity of the injury.

"I'm just getting a little check-up, nothing too important, but I'll be right for next week," Rioli said.

"It's just a sore finger, mate.

"(It happened) at training today, it is just a jarring."

It wasn't the only incident at Tigers training on Friday morning with Dustin Martin heading inside before the bulk of the closed session took place.  

Kane Lambert was also spotted limping from the track.
