GREATER Western Sydney star Toby Greene can accept a fine for misconduct on Collingwood's Taylor Adams in Saturday night's semi-final loss to the Magpies.

Greene was cited by Match Review Officer Michael Christian for the second-quarter incident and was slapped with a $2500 fine.

In other incidents assessed from the game, Adams ($2500) and Giant Rory Lobb ($1500) both received fines for engaging in a melee just before half-time.

It was Adams' third offence of engaging in a melee and Lobb's second.

Meanwhile, Adams was cleared of any wrongdoing for an incident with Greene during the second quarter.

Adams swings with an open hand and makes contact with Greene, but the MRO deemed it was not a reportable offence.

No charges were laid from Friday night's semi-final between Hawthorn and Melbourne.
